​Nugent Child Development Center is a non-profit corporation operated to reflect the highest values and the best care possible while providing quality education for young children. Everyday classroom experiences are presented within a Christian atmosphere. Children of all faiths are welcome. Nugent CDC is licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health through the childcare licensure branch. We provide childcare in a full-time, year-round program for children from ages 1 year thru 5 years. We support the essential nurturing provided by parents. Our emphasis is offering experiences closely related to those your child has at home. We build on the uniqueness of each individual child. We provide a safe and stimulating environment that further strengthens your child’s quest for independence and self-confidence. In addition to physical care for you child, we provide a child development curriculum for preschoolers. Daily activities may include arts and crafts, music, math, health and science concepts, dramatic play, outside play, special visitors, and field trips. With a combination of education and care, we teach and reinforce Christian values for your child.
